A happy ending to the school day
Centre is Grafton's after-school provision, offering children a safe, engaging and welcoming environment at the end of the school day.
We know that family life doesn't always finish when the school bell rings. Centre provides the reassurance that children remain in the care of familiar adults, enjoying time with friends while parents complete their working day.
After a busy day in the classroom, children have the opportunity to relax, enjoy a snack, spend time outdoors, take part in games and creative activities or simply enjoy being with their friends. Some children love organised activities, while others prefer quieter moments. We recognise that every child is different and our provision reflects this.
The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and inclusive. Children are encouraged to make choices, develop independence and enjoy the freedom to unwind after a productive day at school.
Centre is not simply childcare — it is another opportunity for children to feel known, supported and part of our school community.
Growing Confidence and Character
Centre gives children opportunities to develop many of the personal qualities that help them flourish both in school and beyond.
Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and to work through everyday disagreements with the support of caring adults. They learn how to listen to one another, solve problems respectfully and understand the importance of kindness, empathy and taking responsibility when things don't quite go to plan.

Learning From One Another
One of the special aspects of Centre is the opportunity for children of different ages to spend time together.
Older children naturally develop leadership skills as they help and encourage younger pupils, becoming positive role models within our community. Younger children benefit from these friendships too, gaining confidence as they learn from older children in a safe and supportive environment.

Booking
All parents have to complete a Registration Form for each child.
On this you indicate which days your child will attend Breakfast Club &/ Centre.
At the end of the week you are automatically charged for the sessions your child attended.
